A tug master needs to learn to work in close cooperation with a diversity of stakeholders in the nautical landscape, such as ship masters to pilots to port authorities. We simulate these circumstances by creating real interaction between various ships in the same simulated environment. We can create an endless range of different situations, in all kinds of conditions.

For example:

  • Pilots training their skills interacting with real tugboat captains
  • Complex offshore float-over projects involving multiple tugs
  • Decommissioning projects
  • Precarious harbour towage operations
  • Specialized transport towage

The demand for pilot training, to test their skills while interacting with real tugboat captains, has proven to be useful and wanted.
